We invite you to be a part of the
"5 Days of Sacramento Prayer" for the Church of the greater Sacramento area. The MLK Celebration Committee believes that God is going to ignite a fuse at the beginning of the "5 Days BEFORE of "PRAY THE DREAM",
Tuesday, January 10th, 2012, through Saturday,
January 15th, in prayerful hearts, homes, groups and congregations across the meto Sacramento area. And the MLK Celebration will explode into a flame of joy and oneness IN Christ.
The Celebration Committee invites you to be a part of lighting that prayer fuse!
Ted Rose is the designated prayer encourager to the intercessors of the greater Sacramento area from our MLK Celebration Committee. Together Ted is calling you to marshall praying people like you to join in unity with many other praying men and women across Sacramento. We are asking you to pray for a renewal of the whole Church in our region. Come to the Chapel, Tuesday, January 10, at CCC from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm that Tuesday, Jan 10-15 to pray together. Thank you for reading this announcement, and we hope you will joyfully accept our Invitation to join in the "PRAY THE DREAM Prayer Days before, during and after the MLK event.

MLK - "PRAY THE DREAM" Prayer Guide - that can be prayed over the 5 days of Intercession.Day 1. Tuesday - Jan 10 - Worship and exaltation of our Heavenly Father and His love for us all .
Day 2. Wednesday - Jan 11 - Worship and extoling of our Lord Jesus Christ as He makes intercession for all the saints .
Day 3. Thursday - Jan 12 - Continue to worship the Lord and ask for the blessing of the
Holy Spirit to continue working out the Godhead's plan for the
Kingdom of God in our city.
Day 4. Friday - Jan 13 -
Praise God for His holiness, goodness,
love and mercy for all mankind.
Day 5. Saturday - Jan 14- Confess to God and acknowledge how we have fallen short of what God wants us to be. Acknowledge specific sins that He brings to your mind. And then thank Him for His grace, mercy and forgiveness. Pray for yourself and the Church of our Sacramento area to have a clean heart and a renewed right spirit within it.
Day 6. Sunday - Jan 15 - Praise God for His
loving kindness that follows us all the days of our lives.
Day 7. Monday - Jan 16 - Pray for God's Kingdom to come and His Will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, our hearts, our homes, and our congregations.
Day 8. Tuesday - Jan 17 - Pray for a new Holy Spirit movement of unity, harmony, love and oneness of heart and purpose be realized and walked out in 2011 -together!
Day 9. Wednesday - Jan 18 - Pray for love in the
Body of Christ to grow for one another, and that this love would spill over into the total community through unbridled acts of kindness to our families and neighbors, on every level and vocation of our city.
Day 10. Thursday - Jan 19- Pray the presence and
love of God to grip our city-region in such a way that the people of the area know that God loves them, cares for them and wants to reveal Himself to them. Pray that multitudes of people in our city at every level of our society will come to the beckening call of the Holy Spirit to come into the Kingdom of God this year! Pray for the whole Church of the metro-region to know how to lovingly follow-up and integrate those who turn to Christ into the fellowship of
local churches throughout the area.
The "10 Days of Sacramento Prayer" will end on the evening of
Thursday, January 19th, but will culminate the next day! Therefore, we invite you to the grand celebration of the oneness that the whole church of Sacramento has IN Christ. Please set that time aside on your calendar and in your heart to be a part of a movement of His Spirit in our midst! See you, Sunday, January 15, 5:30 pm, at
Capital Christian Center, 9470 Micron Ave, Sacramento.
We are praying that our time together at this MLK Celebration will further launch the next phase of focused monthly prayer for our city-region. We believe God is wanting to raise up four prayer point locations in our metro Sacramento area - North, East, West, South. Come and be a part of the mountain of prayer sign-up! Look for the
National Day of Prayer Task Force table in the lobby of Capital Christian Center!
Dear Intercessor,
please recruit other praying men and women that you know from your local church to help us "repair the wall and stand in the gap before Him, on behalf of the land of
Sacramento so that He might not destroy it ..." (Ezekiel 22:30 HCSB). May God raise up a ground-swell of prayer through YOU! Thank you so much!
